Kini brings a lot of speed and elusiveness, but he's not stopping many players in that position. Kiwis might need to think about CNK going to fullback next week.
Good first half, score a fair reflection. Fisher-Harris played the whole 40, he's going to have to carry the Kiwis on his back if they're going get the cookies tonight, I think. Huge effort already.
Crossland did his job well apart from the missed tackle which led to a try, and a pass to nobody at one stage haha.

I'm more annoyed braddie didn't get a run. Mal meninga slap yourself. Pheen tackling everything. One wayward pass and half a missed tackles. Otherwise been really strong.
Pretty average defence by the Kiwis there.
Geez that's some nice footwork lol.
Attack has been very side to side, and pretty unstructured. But Australia have defended very well, as well. Will be interesting to see how they develop over the next 1 or 2 weeks, depending on if they make the final. Stacey Jones not a top level coach.
Crossland done after 70 minutes, outstanding effort on debut.

Think NZ missed a big opportunity turning down Wayne Bennett.
Tony Kemp was on his campaign on SENZ that NZ needed a Kiwi coach. We'll see how it pans out, I guess. Personally I prefer the best person for the job.

I'm not sure we can take much from how NZ used Crossland.
It was pretty clear he was told not to run and to get the ball to Johnson as much as possible.
We'd be pretty predictable if we tried to play like that.
We certainly don't have a Johnson to come up with a variety of plays.
