2022-2023 Summer of Cricket

They have India in trouble though they do bat well down, need to take them cheap and then outscore them by a bit but I’m not expecting miracles
 
100+ plus would put us in a strong position but we would still be a long way from winning the game. We would need to bowl India out very cheaply again.
 
We were going along steadily accumulating runs and not losing wickets. Then we lost 6/12 in 34 deliveries, the bowlers got on top and ran through us.

All the momentum with India now, we will need to bowl really well again.

We still need 4 more wickets, we have struggled dismissing India’s lower order this series.
 
Exceptional bowling from the 🐐 has set up this game for Australia. Lyon is only the fourth Australian bowler to take 8 wickets twice in tests and the only spinner to do it.

I’m very much looking forward to watching the cricket and a game of rugby league at 6:00pm. Go the Aussies and Knights.

the squad we selected for this tour seemed crazy, but it's now clear they were always going to ambush us with below standard pitches perfect for spin bowlers.
If we win this game the selectors will be patting themselves on the back, and rightly so.
I don't know enough about how the country's to contest the test match championship are selected, but commentators are saying a win here will get us into the final, so finding a way to win a test on a minefield of a pitch is something the selectors had as their goal for this tour.
 
The pitches prepared for this tour take the absolute ****. The level of manipulation of conditions England and India indulge in at home against us is a blight on the modern game. We should prepare the fastest & bounciest pitches we’ve ever produced the next time we play them at home.

Test teams get points for winning test matches during 3 year periods and the top 2 teams play in the finals.
 
Great win by Australia, a huge comeback after the first 2 tests.

Head played very well today and took India out of the game.
