2020 Player Rumours and Signings

Not related to a player but Warriors have sacked Stephen Kearney. Bit of a surprise with their situation even though they’ve been garbage his whole time there.

I reckon Paul Green would do well at the Warriors, they have the talent no doubt which Green could make them completive again like he's done for the Cowboys all those years.

WOuld be a weird signing considering we bought in Frizzel. Outside of him, Sione, Barnett and Fitzgibbon having lost Glasby and probably Guerra it gets thin though but no way i'd want him for 500k.

We'd only have a spot for Proctor if we gave him Guerra's spot, and I don't see the upside of that.
Proctor is only a year younger, is about the same level of player, but would want more money and would take time to fit into the player group, and would also want a multi year deal.
Guerra for reasonable money for 1 year would be a much better signing.
That's assuming we don't want to give that spot to someone young, since we have a pretty experienced group of second rowers in Frizz, Fitz, Sione and Barnett.

I don't see Proctor having the leadership qualities that Guerra has either...for that reason alone I wouldn't want to consider weighing up Guerra vs Proctor because he is a much better cultural fit for where we want to be as a club going forward

Not related to a player but the Titans have extended Holbrook till 2024.
Do long extensions mean anything these days with Seibold’s departure? Lol

Green offered the job at the Broncos with Parr rumoured to follow.

Green weighing up if he will take it.

He had one decent season. I think it was at Panthers?? My St. George Pal not happy about this!
With the squad he inherited at Penrith it'd be hard to not have a decent season.

He flopped with a star-studded Broncos side in the early 2010s, and then was running top 4 with Penrith before stepping down to make way for Cleary.
Certainly not a bad coach in comparison to what's available, but not a massive upgrade on Mcgregor either.

Griffin and Payten are both underwhelming hires but I guess it's whoever is on the market.
