Mal picking DCE over Pearce doesn't surprise me. This result doesn't surprise me. Next week when we probably lose won't either.

I can’t place too much of the blame on the halves. Our forwards got absolutely monstered by the Kiwis there wasn’t a lot the halves could do. Poor defence on the edges proved costly aswell (god this sounds familiar).

I actually feel sorry for Hunt his confidence is shot and things just keep getting worse for him. Can’t understand why Meninga picked him.

There was plenty of questionable selections actually. Gagai, Hunt, McGuire, McLean. Surely we have better options than these blokes. RCG and DeBelin are absolute musts for the Tonga game. Their forwards will destroy ours if we don’t do something.

Ahh mozza you miss the whole selection basis.

ONLY if they are Queenslanders. McGuire loafed all night, was McLean actually there, DCE was pathetic and Hunt not a great deal better and Tommy Turbo is not a centre.

Was good to see the Kiwi’s get the win against us for once. Just goes to show what a clown Meninga is with some of those selections. No Addo-Carr, McLean and DCE (lol), no JDB.

I flew up to Auckland for this last year ... had to hunt down the thread for it lol. Such a brilliant win by the Kiwis, I was on a high for weeks afterwards! Tiny crowd but damn they made a lot of noise!
