Well there goes any hope we had. Astounding how many clubs seem to have endless funds.

"THE Bulldogs have made a massive play to break up the Wests Tigers’ ‘big four’, tabling an offer of around $1 million-a-season to lure club captain Aaron Woods, according to Fox Sports’ chief NRL reporter James Hooper."

Hmm which pack would you join? Tough ask for any player but if you look long term then maybe. Surely they would have to let some decent players go to accomodate?
 
Haven't posted for a while but I'm back

As a few of you have pointed out it's concerning that we have missed out on signing a number of established forwards like Vaughan, Scott, Finucane, Prior etc. what other guys apart from Wiods are on the market ?

Maybe we should give up signing an experienced forward and try for some guys who are looking for a chance ?

There's a few young guys at Penrith who are struggling for game time like Tyrone May, Corey H-N, Kikau and Leota ......

Hi mate,

Kinda think we have enough second rate/looking for a chance plzyers atm.

We need some big game leaders... settling for players looking for a chance will only end in us being as we are already... second rate

100% if would be good if we could have signed Vaughan or Scott or Finucane but the fact we can't even convince Matt Prior to come isn't leaving me with much we will end up with anyone better than Josh Starling. So maybe we chance ourselves on some young guys.

Tyrone May will be a gun player .....

BTW I think we will end up with Ryan Hoffman and I wouldn't be surprised if Sam McKendry comes as well. He nearly came last time and he's not needed at Penrith anymore and is on decent money so I'm sure they'd be happy to let him go. Neither of these guys get me that excited, compared to Scott and Finucane. I haven't heard anything but I just have a feeling ......
 
The good news is that we have the folding green stuff in our pockets, and eventually someone is going to want it.
It's frustrating that we are linked with every big name, and they all go somewhere else so far, but eventually our big pile of dirty cash will get someone interested.
