Be cut-throat how? They've made it clear to Graham and the Bulldogs that they want him badly, they've talked openly about it to the media, what more can they do? We have no leverage in this situation.

Bingo,

The nrl got us for nothing! Made the club pay any debts with the excess cap and now want 15mil in the sale.
If they dont get what they want they are more then happy to sell the Lic to ipswich as the ipswich region are willing to "donate 15mil for a team.

Exactly, the dogs/des have the player and the cards.. we can not even fully approach Graham as he is under contract.
Club/coach has been trying.. its upto the dogs to say ok here.

Thats just say, when they ( bulldogs )have had the best of Graham for 550k!! a lot less then we will end up paying ( 1mill plus ) to cover the backended deals amount plus incentive to come.... its in the best interest of theres to let him go.

If Kasiano is negotiating with other clubs it's because the Bulldogs have told him he's free to leave. This isn't the case with Graham. We can't "legally" offer anything until he's released.
 
I just read that Souths are after Gagai and are confident of getting him . It Also says he is on $600,000 .
 
That souths rumor came from that sports news place. Not the best source.

Though it doesn't look good, with several clubs supposed to be chasing him.

I get it has been said here the Knights are waiting for him to take up his option, and if he doesn't then the Knights fill front up an offer. Dane could well be playing his managers game not resigning or talking to the club until after hi option expires, drumming up interest to get the best deal possible from the Knights.

I just hope we don't lose in this game of chicken.
