They prob looking forward to mad Monday with first grade boys, this was our game to lose, poor discipline and kicking game
 
Really missed Matt Hilder today, I reckon.

Quinn coming up with a shocking blunder costs us any final hope.
 
If we'd been able to defend half decent we'd have won.

Ref also messed up on the blatant double movement by Peter Mata'utia, definitely evened up.
 
Looks like AJ Davis may have played his last game too, with Dobson coming in next year.

Very wasted chance that, more annoyed than last night.

But don't worry, Clint will arrive next year and save us.
 
I thought AJ was pretty good, who will Dobson play in the halves with next year? Surely not Sullivan.

That was a game where we beat ourselves I thought, they just seemed off their game and not really up to it defensively. We no doubt have some great players in the team but also others that really let us down. It's a shame Mantellato struggled with his conversions, it would've been interesting if there wasn't always that extra 2 points that we were chasing.
 
That's the most frustrating thing, we didn't put our best foot forward.

I don't know what the plan is for the halves next year, but Davis and Dobson would be a pretty strong combination.
 
Cronulla thrashed Norths in the other final, I wouldn't be surprised to see them do the same to Windsor next weekend. Really disappointing finish again this year for our boys.
 
windsor wont trouble cronulla,i think being down to a two man bench didnt help...and why play will smith ,where was vaivai...dylan smith toka and frei all went well i thought the backs didnt front bar pete.
 
How many of you were there supporting? Just curious. The ball didn't bounce our way today. We missed Kev. We made silly last tackle decisions- why kick grubbers- why not kick high ones to your 6 ft + winger? You bag Mantellato our 2nd highest try scorer- umm here's a question why not keep using him? No high kicks these past 3 weeks.
We were close a few times but couldn't get there. And that stupid 'hit the ref' rule sucks- we could gave utilised that opportunity.
It was a great effort to get this far, yes disappointing we won't be there next week- but good when you think how many changes the team has had to deal with.
 
Hmmmmm Mantellato, yep a very average player indeed actually a load of c##p. What has this average player achieved the last two years. Let's have a look.
2012-2013 NSW resident side - must be very average to get picked in this squad.
2012-2013 NSW cup top points scorer - very average.
2012 -2013 NSW cup team of the year - now that is average
June 2013 coach Bennett see's something in Mantellato for him to debut in NRL and played average by memory..............maybe Bennett was smoking something funny.
The achievements listed above shows that Mantellato is an average player and brings nothings to the table only his above average goal kicking.
Have I been watching a different game????????
I suppose when you have Tonga on the inside of you he would make anyone look average.
