On the Leeds forum they have said Buderus confirmed yesterday he will return to the Knights, saying ""it was too good of an opportunity to turn down."

He also said Terrance Seu Seu and Alan Tongue were being considered as his replacement.

Where is this Leeds forum?

And it was also mentioned in this one too http://www.superleaguefans.com/forum/thread-2868-page-18.html

He must've said it in an interview or something after the game, I wouldn't imagine Leeds fans making things up but who knows, hope they're right!

I dunno...it seems to be made in passing as if saying that they're resigned to the fact that he's going, but there's no actual confirmation.

It's seeming more and more likely he will come though.

Cronulla return on Bird's mind: Gallen

-Gallen believes Bird is keen to return to the sharks

-Titan offical says Bird will be at the Titans in 2012..

Seems theres 2 options. Either the Titans are looking to keep Ian Shubert in a job becoming the new storm or Bird doesnt want to win a comp.

Seems an odd signing considering they have Mead and Gordon.

Bit of an odd move by Bird, if he or Gallen want to win a premiership or even make the eight, it ain't going to be in the Shire! Good signing for the Titans with Graham, been one of their form players of late! Quite reliable and a good finisher.

I actually wish Cronulla would win the comp just to shur you up saying they'll never win, nf. Bit of a broken record!

In the article it said he was a replacement for Preston because he's a backline utility, just not halves.

Bird might be what Cronulla need to make them a bit more competitive. They were solid when he was with them, granted only for 1 season, but the year they werent too bad either compared to 09 and 10 and kinda this year.

On the other hand Im pretty sure Buderus will come as Tinkler and Bennett want it so. The only person who can stop it from happening is Buderus, and him being a fan of the Tinkler takeover and Bennett's appointment its hard to imagine he wont.

Bird doesn't make the Titans competitive and they have an alright team on paper, pressure is on them to perform next year.

He obviously isn't looking at a premiership with the Sharks.

Unfortunately though, the chances of it happening anytime soon are slim.I actually don't mind Cronulla, just their supporters and how they carry on.

Only this year really. Last 2 years they have been in the thick of it. Management has made changes accordingly. Especially in the backline.

Man they talk some crap there.

It hit a new low during the Snowden stuff and when the Knights played the Sharks earlier this year. Champagne comedy right there.
