Tahu stats this year aren't that bad considering he has played backrow and centre and been in a team that has been very poor. He has made 35m and 38m in two games but in the rest he has made 50-70m not bad considering he was playing out of position and when at centre his halves have given him pretty average ball. Don't forget he did not have an off season either so I reckon with a good off season he can make 80-100m a game.

dont know if this should go in here or not but willie mason has left hull
no doubt we will be linked to him now.

Hull KR have released controversial former NSW and Australia forward Willie Mason just six months into his three-year contract.
The 31-year-old was de-registered by the Super League club a month ago after he was unable to obtain a Tongan passport that would have enabled him to come off their overseas quota.
Mason, who signed a two-year deal with an additional 12-month option, has made just six appearances for Rovers, who have now decided to cut their losses after losing patience with the wayward star.
A brief statement placed on the club's website said: "Willie Mason has left Hull Kingston Rovers with immediate effect.
"The club will be making no further comment at this time."
Mason, a colourful and controversial character throughout his career, has been in dispute with Hull KR since it was revealed he travelled to France to meet officials of Toulon Rugby Union club last month.
That trip was made after making just five appearances in Super League and without his employers' knowledge or permission.
Now Rovers are also investigating claims Mason may have met Toulon officials even before he arrived in the UK to link up with his new club.
Rovers recently stopped Mason's pay, citing a breach of contract by discussing a potential move, and the player has not been seen at Craven Park since handing in a transfer request.
Having being de-registered by the club last month to make way for the re-signing of Australian scrum-half Michael Dobson, he had been training alone in the club gym.
The ex-Canterbury and Sydney Roosters prop arrived at the club in March amid a blaze of publicity and made an immediate impact with a man-of-the-match display in Rovers' 40-22 win over Crusaders but his form quickly deserted him.
Big-spending Toulon are thought to have offered Mason a deal which would see him almost quadruple his wages, to around STG395,000 ($A600,000) a year.
Rovers hope to recover the majority of the wages they have paid to the player so far, possibly through compensation from Toulon should he sign for them.

After mentioning the final changes for the 3pm mail, 2gb said something which really surprised me, saying Henry was the latest player linked to the Sharks, despite having 2 yrs left...Interesting

They don't need him, they already have Wade Graham and Albert Kelly. Media BS i would say.

They have a few young blokes there for the front row, very good young bloke in Clayton. Gal to front a possibility, or move tupou to the bench. Few options, but Gal plays like a prop anyway these days, chews up the metres like no one else

Cant really see Orford playing for us next year but with Bennett as coach anything is possible.

Also another rumor is Daniel Mortimer may head to broncos to replace Lockyer

Would take Henry and Patterson in a heartbeat... let us have 'em.

Wallace, Mortimer halves would be laughable. Never know though, might come good under a better system.

Good old roosters buying talent instead of developing their own.. no surprises there.

The Roosters can't develop talent mate because no kids live in the Eastern Suburbs. Different population in the area to when they started in 1908, and their junior boundaries were changed. We did well to pinch Mad Dog off them though LOL
I'm a bit worried about the players we want to let go - do you think they will be picked up by other teams? I reckon we will be stuck with a couple of them next year, or at least paying a fair chunk of their salary out of our cap. Take Patto for example. I don't think any NRL team will match his $280,000 contract. I think the most he would get is maybe $200,000 and incentives. So if he doesn't want to go to England, we'll be paying at least $80,000 of his wage anyway. The guys on lesser money like Taufua will have a better chance of being snapped up on similar deals.
The problem with letting players go early is that usually it means you aren't getting value for money. Other teams see this and the players value immediately drops. A guy like Nate Myles is an exception as he is a current rep player. But when you punt a guy like Patto who has up and down form plus some injuries you make him look like damaged goods. It's like selling your car, you won't get what you paid for it.

-I keep hearing that Boyd is going back to the Broncos. Makes sense with Lockyer quitting, they've got the money in the cap.
-There are rumours that Cronulla have made a big late play for Adam Blair. The Tigers are thinking twice about him because the players are a bit unhappy. If Cronulla miss Blair then they'll get Bryce Gibbs and Rodney James. If they get Blair, Gibbs can stay at the Tigers.
-Either Anasta or Liam Fulton are being targeted by Penrith but they can't afford both, Fulton's position relies on the Blair situation.

I would be quite happy with a Walsh and Anasta combination. Would rather use him as a half than a forward.
