2011 NRL Premiership: Round 1 Discussion

If anyone does not want to know the score do not read this post:

F/T Cowboys 16-14 Broncos

Don't post the scores of the Friday night games until they've been on tv in Sydney ... if anyone wants to know the score then it's easy enough to find it.

Agreed. Although I thought Anasta played better than Pearce. He was great back at five eighth. Pearce proved to me even more that he is overrated, he kicked it out a couple of times and got MOTM.

Didn't you say the Roosters were no chance with Carney out and Pearce and Anasta would be clueless without him there?

WRONG!!! Couldn't be more wrong.

I tipped Roosters for my knock-out tip, great decision that.

Only 6 to 8 weeks for Manu though ... he's done his ACL more times than I've had hot dinners. He is the ACL machine.

Warriors would be rueing not selecting Inu in the end.

An old school mate of mine is debuting for the Dragons tonight.

Very weird. Could have had 3 guys debut this week who I use to play junior footy against. Rein, Henry and Tariq Sims would have made it 3 if he played.

I'm 1/3 atm :fist:, tipped the Broncos because they're better than the Cowboys, tipped the Rabbitohs because i really thought they could do it & they almost did in the end, but i picked the upset win with Parra over the Warriors! :dancing:

And this is my first year in the Tipping comp so i didn't know there was a knockout one & i didn't pick a side so i got knocked out week 1! :fist::fist:

Darius Boyd, the man that has scored only 4 tries in the past 2 years, has just scored a double.

Dragons and Storm both win.

Dragons where strong, an expected win over an understrength Titan side.

Storm where solid, Manly where average I thought and had a lot of injuries throughout the game.

Anyone else think there have been a lot of injuries in the first round so far? Let's hope that trend stops before tomorrow!

nooo please dont say that. That would be 2 players in my supercoach team that are injured :S

I'm 2/5 in the tipping so far ... standard tipping form for me, if not slightly better than usual!
