well one positive is that it gives us a bit more money under the cap over the next few years, Fa'aso and Hilder can have reduced contracts next year, then make it up to em with simmo's money in 2011

Poor guy, it sounds like he's really struggling.

The positive is right at the end he says he'll definitely go at least until the end of 2010.

Simpson is a club legend, I for one will be very sad to see him go. Who cares if we are able to replace him or not, it'll be a big loss to the club.

Sad to c him not play n e more...But he has been a legend for the club and I would like to remember him as such! Not a player always out for injuries!

And speaking of which, did Maddog get written in his contract that he only has to play every 2nd game! haha
I would like 2 c him in our Heritage strip next week!

I thought simmo was solid today and i think 2010 sounds about right he is getting older and we are playing well when he isnt there. I would hope he would go to england and experience footy there

It certainly will be a sad day when Simmo retires I hope his last 2 years, if indeed he does retire at the end of 2010 can bring a second premiership title for him.
