2010 Knights draw

From memory our last FNF game was against Souths?

Lol that was 1 of 3 Friday night games at home we had in 2007. Ever since then Queensland teams have at least had 1 of the games on Friday night for the Qld ratings so that's why we get a lack of Friday night games! The last offiicial Friday night game at home was against the Cowboys in round 24 & we got beat 34-18. Last 3 times we have played the Tigers in Newcastle they have all been Sunday arvos & we have lost all 3, so it will be a tough one.

How many TV games do we even have this year? It just seems to be either Broncos, Eels, Dragons, Bulldogs on friday night games, so that sucks.

Nine wants the big games, so the Knights have to start putting together 3 or 4 wins in a row before Nine will take the gamble 6 weeks later!!!
They love the Dragons, Parra, Tigers & the Rabbits because they know they will get high ratings in the sydney metro.

Channel 9 is a joke. So glad we got Austar.

The laws have to change so things don't have to be showed first on free to air & second on pay. But Labour or the Libs won't change the anti-siphoning laws :brickwall:

Feels so strange getting our first Friday night game at home since 2007. It will be against the Wests Tigers on May 21st.

Newcastle v Wests Tigers @ EnergyAustralia Stadium, 7:35pm CH9 LIVE

this game is in the origin round im pretty sure hopefully the tigers are without farah

Round 19:

Sunday July 18: Canberra Raiders v Newcastle Knights @ Canberra Stadium - 2pm kickoff.

Good for us, I think we have a better chance beating Canberra in Canberra in the daytime.

thank god its an afternoon game.
as i go to every raiders home game, i have to say that the away teams would always feel more comfortable playing in the daytime, when it's not freezing.

by the way, i was bored the other day and threw this together:

Round 20:

SATURDAY 24th July: North Queensland v Newcastle @ Dairy Farmers Stadium, 7:30pm (FoxSports)

Round 21:

MONDAY 2nd August: Newcastle v Manly-Warringah @ EnergyAustralia Stadium, 7:00pm (FoxSports)

Our home game pattern this season up to round 21 is.

Nightime,Daytime,Nightime,Daytime,Nightime,Daytime,Nightime,Daytime,Nightime

Should score a sunday arvo against the Bulldogs in round 22 next time the schedule comes up.

F*ck Monday night games, they give them to us against teams that would draw a good crowd in any other timeslot the club is losing money because of this sh*t.

The pattern is probably a decent chance of continuing up to the end of the season as well. Although Channel 9's obsession with the Dragons on Friday night could change that

Yep cant see us landing a Sunday afternoon game against the Dragons but who knows. Getting 4 Sunday afternoon games at home plus a Monday afternoon on easter Monday in 10 home games is good for the fans.

The Dragons and Broncos games should be CH9 games especially if we finish off strong. Can't wait for the Dogs game.

I cant wait for the sharks game more, first time we have played them in Newcastle since 2007 and that was a Monday night game too & was definitely not used to the concept of Monday night games at the time. I wonder if that will be the kids free game they give the knights every year? If so & a nice sunny day should get at least 15k, but would be nice to get 18-19k against them.
