Hard start to the year, Horribly hard finish to the year. Least next year if we make the finals it will be well and truely deserved.
 
Round 19 is missing. Canberra Vs Newcastle at Canberra Stadium.

I'll probs go to that game seeming ill be down there.

Thats a hideous run home on this years form.
 
The first three rounds are particularly horrifying.

But I don't mind it, actually. We have the easier sides around origin time, which is definitely a good thing, because that is where we fell apart this year. Byes are a bit better placed, as well.

End of the year is tough too, but we will have to beat those sides come finals time, and what better way to practise than playing them a few weeks out?
 
Broncos, Dragons, Storm to finish off - thats horrible! If we dont get off to a good start, we'll be struggling to make the 8 at the end i reckon!
 
I think this year will really test our away capabilities. If we can stop relying on our home games to carry us through out the season then we will be a good chance, and actually a good finals team as well (especially with a strong/consistent halves combo.) So here is to hoping we can pick up more than 3 away games this year and build some confidence on the road.
 
The countdown is on at the top of this page ... and that's assuming we play on Friday night! :lol:
 
Too long to wait! It's good that the footy seasons ending, i'll be able to get into the cricket and the soccer. I'm actually getting a bit sick of footy but when it comes to the knights, i just want to keep watching them every week. It's not fair :noway:

Thank god we are playing Cronulla at home...that's the team I wanted to us play at home the most. I wonder why we are playing the Bulldogs straight up after we played them in the finals 2 weekends back?
 
Its nearly time for me to go into hybernation till next season. Least theres NFL, Cricket and Aussie open to look forward too.
 
Tought start that will really test us out earlier in the year. We shouldn't fatigue too much around the middle of the year cos the byes are pretty well positioned.. big finish too. Hopefully we will be genuine premiership contenders and knock down most of those big teams.
 
Draw looks pretty hard but if we wont to be premiership contenders we have to beat them anyway.

Have the trial games been anounced from the Knights yet because I know some other clubs have there trials sorted already
 
Does not matter the draw.

If we are good enough to win it things will fall into place however think we are carrying too much St George deadwood.
 
I think a lot of people forget that it is good for us to verse them through out the regular season. If we cruise along all year and make the finals, we will get shut out like the Dragons did because we got an easy road there. At least this draw gives us a fighting chance in the finals if we make it.
 
pretty hard start to the season aswell as the run home though that could be an advantage. Not a bad draw around the origin series
