1 thing I hate about nrl fans

I hate fans that only go for a team when they win, thats not passion

KNIGHTS FOR LIFE :)

look at the storm in a couple years they will probably be a struggling team around 10 or 11 on the ladder lol, just like what happened to the Sydney Roosters & the Wests Tigers

Have you say?

Its called a bandwagon. Been happening forever and always will. Look at the likes of the Cowboys and Tigers.

I even know a few people who switched and bandwagoned some other team. I agree that it's annoying, but that's life.

As long as you follow the knights champ, i was asked if i would like to change my favorite team (knights) in 2005 by a relative, i said no!!!!!! lol

KNIGHTS FOR LIFE

Sure am mate. I've copped the lot.

I don't know why people 'change' teams. I find it stupid. But that's just my opinion. I'm loyal.

I hate it alot! Especially during the year if the knights are doing well everyone is like "our knights" and if they are losing then people tease me about liking them - its just crap! It really annoys me when the newspapers do it too.

I lived in Tasmania in 05 so I didn't cop it too much because no one knows what NRL even IS down there let alone who is winning games lol.

They're all glory hunters. There are loads of soccer fans over here who jump on the bandwagon of whichever team wins the Premier League. You pick a team and you stick with them. And nothing makes you break the bond!!

For me - NRL - Knights.
SuperLeague - Leeds/St Helens (Gary Schofield/Ellery Hanley/Bobby Goulding/Paul Newlove)
Football team - Man Utd (since I was 6 in 1977!!)

Well i think im going to support parrar...joking i wouldnt even think of doing that! didnt aussie say that thanrldiva swicthed to the penrith panthers?

My next dooor neighbour does this all the time. It pi*ses me off so badly ! This season at the start he apparnlty went for the knights, changed about 10 times through out the season but of course at the end ended up going for the strom... :?

People can support whoever they want, whenever they want, as far as I'm concerned. It's their business ... whatever makes you happy.

Well then I wouldn't really call that 'supporting'. Those fans are like Italy during world wars, they just ally themselves with the winning side.

If they go along and cheer their side on, then they are supporting it. In my opinion it makes the victories sweeter if you stay with a side during the bad times, but that's not for everyone and who am I to say that they are wrong?

If I was a Souths supporter I might have ditched them by now haha.

And at least these people are supporting league and not union!

Too true. How good was that winning feeling after beating the Panthers in 05?

I wouldn't ditch them either but I've got alot of home pride you know, if I lived in WA and went for the knights I may be able to lay off the liking of them but since I'm here I couldn't not love them.
