Hey all. I reckon 2027 is the most open premiership race in years, moreso than any other I can remember, moreso than this year where we got a 4th vs 7th grand final. There are 6 teams who've been given odds between $6 and $8.50, and I think that's very fair. Posting said rosters plus my "wildcard" team that I think also has a chance, the Brisbane Broncos, sorry sorry I'll get off Reece Walsh's **** someday I promise.

I don't want to post the Knights ZT roster because I think they've gotten it wrong lol. And if I was a Warriors fan I'd be annoyed by what they've listed, surely Leiataua and AKP come out of the side for Charnze and Dallin respectively? Further, Spencer Leniu is all but confirmed to be going to Parra.

Something that really stands out is how *** ****ed the league has been by depth. Teams are flat out putting a bench together and are going into an off season with only like 22-23 contracted players. I think we could be looking at a lot of train & trials earning top 30 deals over this pre-season.

3 strongest squads on paper are the Wahs, Melbourne and us IMO. And I think we're #1. I really do.

Yeh I think Melbourne will definitely bounce back this year. The Wahs still have a quality squad. It amazes me with Zero Tackle where they put players that are in the “best” squad.

I reckon with Brisbane we will know pretty quickly what sort of season they’ll have. Madge has his work cut out for him.

Top 8 is right open next season

Us (what I think is most likely):

1. Kalyn Ponga
2. Dominic Young
3. Toby Winter (development)
4. Bradman Best
5. Greg Marzhew
6. Fletcher Sharpe
7. Dylan Brown

13. Mat Croker
12. Francis Manuleleua
11. Dylan Lucas
10. Trey Mooney
9. Phoenix Crossland
8. Jacob Saifiti

14. Sandon Smith
15. Cody Hopwood
16. Jermaine McEwen
17. Marata Niukore
18. Harrison Graham
19. Fletcher Hunt

20. Lachlan Crouch
21. Pasami Saulo
22. Elijah Salesa-Leaumoana
23. James Schiller
24. Matt Arthur
25. Matt Hunter
26. Tom Cant
27. Asu Kepaoa
28. Peter Hola
29. Kyle McCarthy

Two vacant spots, Winter isn't in the top 30.

Big thing for me with Melbourne is if Eli Katoa really is back.

If he is - gulp.

If not that team comes back to the pack considerably.

Wahs have amazing depth, should be great in the regular season again.

I reckon Brisbane will be chastened a bit and I do think the Payne Haas stuff caused a lot of friction. One thing you know with Barney, he's going to be all-in. IMO they should see their spine as a race for selection between Mozer and Pezet though, rather than Pezet getting dibs. If Mozer outdoes him in pre-season they should start Hunt at 7 and play Mozer as a 14 with Walters in a 9/13 role.

I actually think the Phins are going to miss the 8. That will be my big call. They are one injury away from calamity. Nikorima out George Williams in will prove to be an all time unforced error.

Mate, you just need to delete Kyle McCarthy from slot 29 as you have listed him twice.

Toby Winter will surely be elevated into the 30, im sure the club is chips in on him and from what i saw it wouldnt surprise me if he is a main stay at centre next year and Hunt floating again.

Fair few of the clubs have lost players affecting them more than ours so I understand why you rate as ours #1. We are down on experience considerably but jeez talent is there.

Roosters with DCE Watson Leniu Marky Crichton is crazy bad. I really keep thinking they’re next years Broncos, bye bye
Dolphins with Issako Nikoroma big outs but they’ll be fine.
Souths have terrible spine
Wahs I just don’t rate
Penrith declining ever so slowly, 2 major injured halves

I agree, it’s completely open.

Storm will be back 100% though, Broncos halves are question mark but I see them back in the bottom half of 8

My predicted 2027 ladder, extremely early:
Top 4 in alphabetical order: Knights, Panthers, Rabbitohs, Warriors
5. Dolphins
6. Roosters
7. Dragons
8. Storm
9. Broncos
10. Sharks
11. Cowboys
12. Eels
13. Sea Eagles
14. Raiders
15. Tigers
16. Bulldogs
17. Titans
18. Perth Bears

I think we have one of the best chances out of any team, and if we play with the same passion and hard work we definitely can be leading the comp. O'Sullivan has helped set us up nicely.

I do think Broncos won't be as strong without Haas, even with some of their younger players coming through, and after this years performance I see them missing out on the 8 just.

I really like the look of the Warriors next year with Boyd back and an offseason with Leka at centre

1. Warriors
2. Panthers
3. Storm
4. Knights
5. Broncos
6. Roosters
7. Rabbitohs
8. Bulldogs
9. Eels
10. Dolphins
11. Cowboys
12. Dragons
13. Sea Eagles
14. Tigers
15. Sharks
16. Raiders
17. Titans
18. Bears
