One thing I love about this run is one or two players have stepped up and had a huge game every week. Vs Souths, Gagai and McEwen were huge. Last week Crossland was everywhere. This week Sandon and Best ginormous.

Its a problem for next season for sure. No way Sharpe is going into the centres though. By the end of next season he'll be the best 5/8th in the game. His kicking game today was so damn versatile, his long kicking game has come along very nicely late in the season. He was hitting floating bombs, long distance kicks to the corner. Him and Brown are the best defensive half combo in the comp and its not even close.

I posted this in the game day thread but I can’t stop watching it. Figured it deserved to be in Sandons thread. The look on his face once he crossed the line and the realisation that he’s off to a grand final is amazing

To even be there, on the opposite side of the field when the ball had gone past him to take the intercept was incredible.

I don’t know how those little legs made it all the way but they did and he’s created a moment nobody who watched it will forget

As soon as he caught the ball i said "we are in the grand final". It didn't matter if he ran 10 metres, the play iced the game for us. But i am so, so glad for the kid that he did go all the way. It will become/is an iconic moment for the club.
