To be honest, I’ll be satisfied with a fighting loss tonight. Our young forwards will be put to the test , but from what I’ve seen in recent weeks they wont lay down or go MIA. I hope we compete for 80 minutes, and give the bunnies a few bumps and bruises for next week.
I feel sorry for Trey Mooney because he has led the way for our front row this year, and to miss the semis is not a deserved end to his season.

My daughter was playing a gold medal match for a spot in the Queensland girls cricket team and I said to another dad who’s pretty rough around the edges and very salt of the earth, “god you know what? I’m pretty bloody nervous mate how about you?” And he looked at me like I was an idiot and said, “why the f*** would I be nervous? It’s not me playing. ”

I said to my wife today I was nervous about tonight’s game and she reminded me of that little interaction. Had to laugh.
