Graham cant saulo crouch is the plan A , hunt or winter only get on if an outside back go down. Holbrook said during week you dont need 6 on bench only 5… the usual and coverage in the backs. If we lose a middle the remainder of those 4 will just get extra minutes, you would put more minutes into graham, crossland to lock and croker into the rotation id say. Mcarthey at 20th may be a good option for winter for even more versatility.
 
On the train on the way down. Can't wait for this one. TBH my main concern right now is klein. I feel like if we get a fair crack at it, that we can break them open at the end of each half. Then its up to us to hold the ball but still play our game. They have exceeded my expectations many times this season, its the main reason I am going to support them. It feels great to have a decent football team to support again, its been a while...

There's a Foxsports article on Justin Holbrook that's a refreshing read. At the very end it says:


Holbrook said he has always believed that a coaches’ energy and enthusiasm rubs off on the staff and players at a club.

Before the players run out onto the field on Friday night, Holbrook won’t talk to them too much, preferring to do all that during the week at training.

But when they head out onto the field, they’ll do it knowing exactly what their job is.

“It’s the players that have got to run out there and perform for you so there’s no point in being a complete dictator when they’re the ones out there,” Holbrook said.

“I always feel if you include them in the way you want to play and they buy into it, then you’re going to have success.”

You’ve definitely missed your calling as a TV script writer Brem!
 
Will miss the game due to a wedding, but boy am I hoping to check my phone once it's done to see a good result. I'm not super hopeful for a win with all of our outs. But at the very least I'll be happy if we can push them to the end and have a game in the balance. Plus, the more games we win in the finals, the less games JSaf sits out for next year!

Nerves are high, can't wait for this one. Hope the boys are revved up and we just play our game.

Going to my first finals game since that horrendous 2013 prelim vs the Roosters, when Bedsy went down early, ironically at the same ground, albeit the old SFS. Taking my two boys as well, will be their first finals game. Really hope we walk out smiling, super excited.

He was named for an international team, likely he won't miss any games next year hopefully.
