With the team naming imminent, here's the thread for games three!

And to try and give the NSW supporters some hope, here's the series winning game 2 of 2003 ... a memorable one for Knights fans, as our players scored 23 of NSW's 27 points! Tries to Tahu, Kennedy and Gidley, plus a load of goals from Joey, saw NSW retain the shield in comprehensive fashion. Can NSW win the decider this year?!

LOL Loz. All over the shop again.

Hamuole and Murray on the bench. AFB has been awful and stays in the team. He drops Api despite desperately lacking any creativity from dummy half for Brailey, even though Brailey is coming off a broken arm and hasn't played for a month...I guess you've got to admire Loz for at least sticking to his disastrous selection policies.

At least dropping To'o, who has struggled this season, for Bostock, who deserves a shot and is great under the high ball, is a good move.

PS. Hopefully, the coming calamity will be a lesson for the next Origin coach on not bringing players into the squad after long injury layoffs, having played no club footy.

Billy is remaining on a handshake deal to stay QLD coach... guessing that's because he'll take over at Melbourne whenever Bellamy retires. ATM Bellyache has extended to 2028, but his diagnosis may force a change of plans.

Still not clear what Loz is doing...other than establishing another QLD dynasty.

Bellamy can 'opt out' to transition roles each year but that is probably by a certain date that he would have to let Storm officials know by, usually around this time I think. Makes that bit of news even more interesting.

On form this season, how Loz has AFB on the bench over JSaf beggars belief.

Moses was disgusting on the weekend; NSW lacks any spark in attack, yet Strange and Haumole are on the bench. Somehow, Murray is still not starting, and he's brought back Brailey despite no footy. Brailey would be first picked if fully fit, but coming off a broken arm in the shortest time possible to play Origin, even off the bench, is insane.

I'll still hope for an upset victory, because holding up the shield in front of a lot of sad QLDers is always a hoot (I remember Loz doing it back in the day), but really, the good news is another flogging surely ends Loz and the era of the media identity "coach" in NSW. 🤞
