I would have preferred to keep Gagai. But it doesn't surprise he's leaving with the younger options. Hopefully one of them has a great pre season and breakthrough next year.

Going to Brisbane is probably a good career choice for him considering the exposure to post retirement roles with the Broncos as well as those with Knights, Souths etc and wherever else he has established relationships
I understand the sentiments but I think that is unfair of us to expect him to retire with us when he is still playing good footy and we won’t offer him a contract.

Tooheys news say Bradman close to extending! Now we need to get Jsaf and Dom done this year. And hopefully Frizz. Sharpe next year we are killing it with a top squad.
Sharpe and Brown still have their knees strapped, Best and Ponga I doubt will ever play a complete season so I hope some of these young 'backs' start showing some first grade form. On the bright side nearly all the players Holbrook has brought into first grade have looked reasonably comfortable.
I was listening to Kenty’s podcast and he mentioned that a few Sydney clubs, particularly Souths are very keen because of Bennett. However, Brisbane are the favourites as his wife reportedly didn’t enjoy living in Sydney.
I’d be happy for Gagai to go to Broncos for 12 months, then come back in a coaching capacity for us

With the Broncos also picking up Barnett, they are becoming the retirement home for Knights players, like we used to be for Roosters players!

People just like to follow the leader and hate Sandon for nothing, I decided to use the nrl stat page to see where he ranks before his injury and he was beating some pretty big names in many stats that people on here have raved about.
Goes to show, I also agree while his defence is still not the best but it has improved and what he offers in attack so far is incredible.
And it is funny that when people hate on Marzhews defence people hit back with “he needs best next to him” or a good defensive centre next to him to try and make it not his fault but with Sandon apparently he is the only player on the field and everything is his fault and no one around him can help.
Just goes to show the complete nonsense that comes out when people talk about a favourite compared to a non-favourite.
Like when he was injured and came off some absolute specimens on here tried to say he was “hooked” because their own bias came out hard and were forced them to sit on it when it was announced he had a injury to which anyone could see.
