Chris Randall was also an absolute nobody who was plucked from lakes also. He has made a good go of it so far.

Ryan Rivett was a crazy one.

We signed Ryan Rivett and Liam Sutton from Cronulla at the same time and Rivett came with a massive wrap and was put into firstgrade after doing a pre-season, and couldn't tackle at all - maybe the worst defender ever for Knights.
Sutton always looked 10 times the player, but never got a go.

We signed Ryan Rivett and Liam Sutton from Cronulla at the same time and Rivett came with a massive wrap and was put into firstgrade after doing a pre-season, and couldn't tackle at all - maybe the worst defender ever for Knights.
Sutton always looked 10 times the player, but never got a go.

Played a season at Toulouse after us then returned to Australia to play for the Mackay Cutters and apparently has been in a few 21 man squads for the Cowboys.

Another one I haven't heard in a while is Sam stone.

I believe Sam Stone is playing in the English Super League, but not sure which club.

Trent salkald played a few games for us on the wing. The only other one I can think of is Brian Carney from that era.

One guy I always find crazy that played for us is Craig Gower. Penrith legend of the game, then a random 6 game cameo for us at the end of his career. What a random signing that was.

Ahh yeah the poor bugger ended up with some kidney disease. Scored some nice tries. His Hatty against the roosters was a nice moment for him.
