Danny 'Bedsy' Buderus
Toby Winter I think.
(there has been talk of him training with firstgrade for the rest of the year for a few weeks)
He's popped up on the NRL site now. Development in 2026/27, Top 30 2028/29.

It is going to take something special for a club to lure any of them away from here in the short term.Sign up that left Edge!
I don’t see the concern. We signed him as depth. Is it hard to imagine the Wahs want to give their younger players more of a run than blokes leaving at the end of the year?Niukore named in NSW Cup this week. Bit of a concern he can’t even make the 19 man team. What did we pay for him again?
He wont be a reserve grader. He'll be bench or starter, same mould as Frizz but also a wonderful leader for our junior forwards. No one knows how much was paid for him.Decent money for a reserve grader is the concern. We had a few of those last year, Elliott/Hetheringron, not pulling their weight, hope Niukore is not on the same decline.
Considering we've likely paid at least $450-$550k for Nuikore, it makes missing Barnett for an extra 200k feel like a lost opportunity.I’m still spewing we didn’t get Barney back.If we got him back, I think we are way more of a chance for a premiership. And he’s going to Brisbane which rubs salt into the wounds.

I like Barney but I really feel like he's past his peak and will decline more quickly. Nuikore is a less risky option for the $$$Agreed
I was thinking about this the other day.Very very few rep standard middles are dying to get to Newy to play with the boys. Perhaps Barnett is too injury prone and perhaps that was at the centre of concerns around the player
