2026 Season

Trai Fuller at 29 and still virtually guaranteed a starting gig at the Dragons, and still passing is quite something. Would be interesting to know if he's got a better deal lined up or just doesn't want to board the Titanic after the ice berg.

He might be the exact right type of player for PNG. At his age he's probably thinking about the money. Too bloody right, he should be.

He didn't go because they only offered one year (or maybe it was only the rest of this year).

Apparently Dragons want to go all in on Drinkwater who could become available a year early and wants to live in Sydney.

His partner is pregnant and the Dragons only wanted him for the rest of this year. Trai wanted extra years after.

How cool is this, very 80s coded.

So the Dragons wanted Trai to fix a short-term problem for them and then potentially be stuck in Sydney without a job and a newborn? No wonder they're a basket case.
But not surprising from the Dragins. They would use young Trai, then kick him to the curb.
Smart move to stay away from the old drag queens.
