Ashes Tour 2025

Seems like a rushed decision and with not a lot of choice out there, but I do like Kevie and I think he could do a good job.
I do think this might be a rough one with all the stories of players going to play for other countries

It would be good to see a close series as a neutral. England/Great Britain can be hard to beat at home, but in saying that Australia never seem to have any problems haha.

Long been a critic of commentators & pundits as coaches, taking the view that successful coaching is a discipline that requires constant work. It certainly has been the "gift" that keeps on giving for the NSWRL.

But Kev is a coach who can commentate. I thought he was sacked unfairly and too early by the Broncos a year on from GF. Kev would have loved the Knights' board. We only have to see the struggles that Madge has had in getting those prima donnas to perform to show it wasn't just about Kev (and it's scary that Madge may have cracked the code with those boys because no one wants the Broncos to win a premiership).

Long story short, I think Kev is a good choice, and if there's a team that just needs a feel-good leader and doesn't need a lot of actual coaching, it's the Kangaroos.

Looking forward to Herbie on the left and Dom on the right for England. Not sure if the rest of their team will be good enough, but they'll have some strike out wide.

Latrell ruled out with a neck injury - Bradman looking odds on to get a green and gold jersey.

Wouldn't shock me if they shoehorn Ethan Strange into left centre but given Bradman was in the Pac Champs squad last year I'm hoping a sensible decision will prevail.
This is what I reckon they’ll do, there’s so much smoke about Ethan as a future rep superstar now and Kevvy is very vulnerable to media noise. But he’d be behind Munster and Dearden at 6. Centre the easy answer there. Bradman I think will be a casualty of our terrible form unfortunately.

That would be crazy if they pick Ethan Stange over Bradman. He’s proven he’s a gun in the Rep arena. Turbo will be the other centre?

Mark and Coates would be my wingers. Great in yardage and imagine giving both of them to literally any halfback Australia might pick (besides Dearden) 😮.

Even with all the forwards defecting to Samoa, I don’t think any other country has an answer for putting the ball up for them in the corner.
