I'd be extremely surprised if KP is removed from captain by the next coach, on arrival essentially.
I could see him being co captain, but completely dumped, no.
The new coach coming in needs to firstly win the club over that they can make positive changes and be able to deal with the playing group, personalities etc. I can't see a coach coming in and saying they going to dump KP as captain. Nor can I see them not saying it, then pulling the rug from KP.
Especially if Green is such an attractive option because he is popular with the players. You think Green is going to remove KP as captain, such a radical change? No chance.
I can see the new coach wanting to get the best out of KP, and utilising a game plan that uses him more effectively, along with Brown and Sharpe chiming in. If that happens, KP will be far more respected and then, why would you have dumped him as captain?
Peters not wanting to be interviewed to coach here, fair enough, must not want the job badly. Move on.
And on JSaf endorsing Green as he is a good man manager which is what they need, factoring in AOB possibly not being a good man manager which I think we can assume here, the players still haven leaned on Green, Green hasn't been able to influence the team effectively, and if he has, he still can from the same position next season with the new coach, who hopefully is a good man manager so win win.
TLDR: Holbrook.
