It starts with the coach getting the players to believe in he's coaching game plan 5 years to get them believing in that, something he hasn't been able to do
We have had him for 5 years and it's clear as day we have reached the ceiling under he's guidance, the only difference to previous years and this year under AOB is this year he hasn't got the magical dally m type run from ponga
I agree the culture is pathetic,lazy and non winners mentality but that's the coaches job to get that happening....

5 years is hardly chopping and changing
5 years is also plenty of time to get a group of players to believe in the game plan, you keep implementing each year, it's also enough time to make the correct adjustments to that game plan if it ain't working

Don't get me wrong, I think he needs to go and his time is up.

But I don't think a new coach is going to make this team a contender due to the horrible culture this club is riddled with.

Honestly I don't think any coach has nailed it since Mal Reilly ... 27 years ago! The team fell apart when Brian Smith announced he was leaving at the end of the season in 09, Bennett had 2012 (2014 I can forgive after McKinnon's incident), Hagan had thousands of below par efforts when Joey was out, and Warren Ryan had a player revolt in his first season.

Honestly don't know if anyone can turn it around at this point.
