Ultimate Knights Cult Hero side

[jamesgould]

Saw this article on the Warriors which I thought was good:

The ultimate Warriors cult-hero line-up

While the Warriors may not have a cabinet chock-full of trophies, the club has never been short of men who create memories.

Who would make an all-time Knights Cult Hero team?

For me I’ve seen Nathan Ross mentioned in the last day who is an absolute lock in the side. And Brodie Jones surely pushing hard for at least a bench spot.

Milton Thaiday fullback, too.

Uate a must, only with his Mohawk though

Solid call, this is making me wonder who has had the biggest mohawk in NRL history …

Imagine a player running out with something like this …

[MontyBrogan]

For mine, Ben Rogers has to walk into the side for the Daniel Vidot knockout alone

[jamesgould]

Joe Wardle for causing the greatest case of collective amnesia in a fanbase ever recorded?

[sherpa]

Darren Albert

[slotmachine]

We have too many wingers but Brian Carney

[Oliver]

Craig Gower?

[Celticman98]

Tyson Gamble sledging Doueihi after a knock on in 2023 was a hilarious moment for me anyway.

[slotmachine]

Danny Wicks!

[mullenmagic]

George Carmont

[mozza]

Justin ‘the Knight’ Ryder captain coach surely?

[HarVeeGee13]

The tough thing with these things is I feel like there’s a point of being too good as a player where you lose “cult hero” status. Eg I kind of think Uate was too good. There’s an argument he cracks our all time team.

Yeah, I think Ben Kennedy had his own tribal following as well, but probably too good for cult hero status.

[Macca89]

George Carmont

Always with his socks down

[Sheldon]

George Carmont

This was my pick

[Sheldon]

Anthony Quinn

Sione

His done mate, looking right at home in the local league.
