Dylan Lucas 235m 34 tackles 0 missed. Crossland was great and added further fuel to my theory his position is lock. I’d have him there next week.
I’m not convinced McCarthy is anything special. He tried hard but that’s about it.
Hunt was great - all effort.

Agree with most of this. McCarthy, though I think you're underestimating. 166m 53 post contact, a try and an offload. Some errors and missed tackles, but only at the start of his career, I think there's a lot to like about him going forward.
 
I'm sure we all knew that we were going to lose that game as soon as we took the 2 points..... I felt like they shut up shop at that point.
 
If Sharpe played we win that game. We just lacked an X- Factor to win it.

All did really good work off the bench, we didn’t look less likely in attack or D.

Hunt tried so hard at the back. Not made for NRL at the back but I’d have him as replacement centre or wing.

McCarthy busted his gut and his Defence is really really impressive. Cant break a 1vs1 tackle or a special offload but still. Solid effort.

Crossy at 13 was impressive. Great D and very crisp ball movement. Something I hope we can take advantage of in the future with likes of Best and Dom on an edge and Sharpe at 6/7

Heartbroken for lads but couldn’t ask much more in effort.

It’s possible I’m wrong. I am always happy to admit when it happens - I was wrong about Hunt. I ****ing roasted him but I’m happy to admit I was wrong about him. I still wish he was faster.
McCarthy just seemed to get dominated a lot and failed to make any kind of impact as a centre. Plenty of heart though - took tough carries all night

that many tackles in opposition 20 a good team would of put 30 on them.
They won game by contesting kicks last week, this week back to being conservative look what happens.

Yep just got home , very happy with the effort . Couldn't have asked for anything more !
 
Whilst they're on to about their 6th halves pairing for the season and they did try a couple of set plays, which seems like progress IMO, the essential problem with Obi ball is it's really hard to defend 8 points, no matter how resiliant, organised or well-drilled the team is.
