NRL Round 11 - Knights Vs Eels - 6:00pm Friday 16 May - McDonald Jones Stadium

Are we weather specialists because we can't score points, and wet weather games tend to be lower scoring?

I know we'll miss Marz's meters out of defence, but I don't think we'll miss his hands tonight. ☔

Most of them are making just as many errors as Marzhew.

Marzhew is top two in the Knights for handling errors
1. KP (20)
2. Marzhew (16)
3. Gagai (15)

He does drop it a lot not the only one but comfortably in the top 3 for the Knights

Also top 2 for just general Errors and 3rd overall in the NRL

While it's true we've been bad across the park with our ball control and KP is on top of the list for errors, and Marz is 2nd, KP does have the excuse that he's a ball player and would have many more receipts in a game...IDK that the wet would have helped Marz's handling which hasn't been good enough this season.

If Best is out, does that mean Hetherington comes on to the bench? Ie. Was JH as the 18th man, part of some secret plan by AOB to hide his team selections/availability? His lack of versatility meant he didn't seem like an ideal choice as an 18th man to me.

And if true, my next question is there any point in playing these sorts of games? As someone joked earlier in the week, the Eels must be gutted they have to rip up their Jack Cogger game plan...I mean, what game plan do you need against a team that struggles to score other than maintain your discipline and make your tackles?

Yeah Hetherington can play in second row as well as prop, he was training as a second rower before he joined the Knights I read.

But true this hiding players is stupid, Parras game plan wouldn’t have changed it’s not like they are different players, they are both slow halfbacks that are going to try to find KP and struggle to get it to our backline and turn it into a forward

Yep, it was Ponga last week ... weird!

Also I reserve the right to be totally wrong if Best is actually out lol.

No no, no backtracking, we have you down for, it's internet jibber jabber. 🤣

Game plan Vs knights for assured victory is, move up quickly in D, take time away from the halves. When the ball is moving across towards a half or pong, shoot a player out of the line at them. This shuts down any attacking movement.

Repeat.

The fact that this is extremely true and yet the coach can’t fix it shows he is inept.
