Assuming McCarthy takes up the option and they go into 2026 with only 29 spots filled that's only 3 more signings to be made, with KPP, Hetho and Elliott all not on deals yet. And maybe 1m-1.5m cap space left by my best guess.

I keep forgetting, Tyrone Thompson isn't signed for next year either. So yeah, our pack Round 1 2026 is currently something like:

JSaf
Crossland
Jones
Lucas
McEwen
Friz

Arthur
Croker
Cant
Hopgood/ESL/Sullivan

I thought someone (maybe POS) mentioned somewhere in an interview that he was signed for 2026? Could be wrong though.

Development deal for 2025 only at this stage, unless we have missed an extension. im assuming once he gets a few games under his belt we will look to sign him into the top 30 and extend.

Not sure Tyrone will develop that fast he’ll be ready for top 17 in 2026.
Correct me if I’m wrong but Leo had a season or two at Raiders before here and took him a season to put pressure on selection to starting prop, we could certainly do with him next season with Leo leaving

Leo had played 12 games of NSW Cup at Canberra, I think we picked him up on a development deal, and then he got a top 30 upgrade and three year deal over that pre-season with us. He played in the round 1 win over the Roosters in 2022, that was his first game at any level for us.

So a similar progression would be a good run of games in NSW Cup followed by some first grade off the bench later in the year.

AOB said yesterday if he’d played both Cup games he would likely have played against the Titans and he nearly picked him anyway.

If we want to keep Tyrone we'll need to re-sign him before he can adequately demonstrate his value.

Clearly the club doesn't like doing that otherwise Leo wouldn't be leaving us.

Can't see how this gets resolved. The Dogs will likely come for him if he looks good
