2025 Recruitment And Retention

I think Moses may very well become available over the next year or so if Eels continue to stink it up, I don't know if he would want to come here, but how many other clubs would have the money and be looking for a half back at that time? Roosters would be a danger unless they start signing people and the new PNG team obviously.

I sincerely think he’ll never be a Rooster. Isaac Moses is his manager (and always will be - they’re cousins). I believe they actually finessed the roosters somewhat one of the time he was negotiating a contract extension, to get more money out of the Eels. Uncle Nick hates Isaac and tends to hold a grudge.
 
I'm pretty confident Moses will never come to the Knights either. He's already on huge money at the Eels, if he leaves it will be to try and win a premiership.
 
always been a fan of emre guker and he seems to have slipped down the pecking order at raiders - probably wouldn’t get a bench spot with Leo there. Might be one to consider if we can get cheap.

I like Guler but if we’re going to take something from them after they swooped on Leo then we take a top talent of there’s. Mooney/Mariota/Clydesdale.

Also didn’t realise Fogarty was off contract next season. Seen his name mentioned here a couple times. Think he’d be a great choice for 7 with his great kicking game. I think he’s a solid playmaker and organiser too.

Though there was a rumour earlier of Te Marie Martin. So not sure between them both. Loved what TMM did for warriors mid year. Love Fogarty.

He'll sign an equally big deal with someone for 2027 instead of 2026, having had another year developing in the best NRL system ever.

How long do you think Bellamy continues coaching? He is essentially on 1 year deals as he decides midway through each season if he will continue coaching the next.
I still believe that Bellamy is their system. Does the success they have achieved under him continue with whoever takes over after him? I have my doubts.
 
Can someone refresh my memory?

Didn’t Pezet leave a couple of years ago after a big kerfuffle and his father dragged newcastle through the mud etc on their way out the door or was that someone else? A vague memory of someone doing that?
