2024 NRLW season comments

Chapman has clearly been carrying injuries all year.
I kept expecting her to have a breakout game and get the titans into the comp, but she was a shadow of herself from 2023.
 
Champman's hamstring was fugged end of yr, could barely stretch out. Hopefully Whitfield gets an actual go this time.

Didn; think Manzelmann had a great year either, but prob on same level, think Dodd had a better year then most of them.

At least Keely Davis didn't get picked. Fraud of a player and it grinds my gears they beat us!

Coach says Apps picked over Kernick because she’s the captain. Ahem, they lost last year, maybe she shouldn’t be captain or in the team.

There’s actually quite a lot of news about it and what a terrible omission it is. Good sign for the women’s game if there’s genuine debate over International selections. Might also mean they don’t get away with this clique **** for much longer

The clique and friendliness needs to end! get some hate in the game. How the Knights girl's don;t despise the Roosters is beyond me. Pretty sure its why Roosters won, they hated us for previous wins.

Good, needs to get it into Romaniuk and Predabon, both were poor this year. Just watched highlights of Finau, need her and McEwen in top 17 next season. Will need to recruit and big bopper that has footwork and fitness. None ready in lower grades and Butler needs a hand up there by herself now.

Interesting offseason in recruitment department.

Obviously the problem with Kernick is, at 23, she is too young. She would be the second youngest in the team, behind only Keilee Joseph.

Albert-Jones not in the main Kiwi squad at this stage but may get called up if someone drops out.

The new signing Mercedez Tualelei-Siala is in the Samoa squad as well.
 
Article in the Herald today where Jefferies talks about what Jesse Southwell needs to do tomorrow to get more rep games.
He says there are 4 halves in the squad and they'll spread it around, so she'll only get about 30 minutes to impress.
He says being a team player is what selectors are looking for.
