2024 NRLW season comments

McEwen comes into the Samoa starting side named at prop, but they've got a prop named at second-row so guessing they'll switch on the field.
 
McEwen was fantastic again. 70 fantasy points, 15 tackle breaks and some great runs.
Fiji played much better this week, but Samoa got home with two late tries, both set up by Evah going on tackle breaking runs.
 
A (long) shortlist of nominees for the Golden Boot has been announced. Assume it'll be shortened before a winner is ultimately announced, but as of now Tamika Upton, Yasmin Clydsdale & Evah McEwen are among the nominees.
 
Must be a massive list if it goes down to an 18 year old with 2 games of NRLW.
I wouldn't be surprised if she wins some day, but maybe not this year.
 
Evah McEwen topped the fantasy points in 2 of 3 games for Samoa and was 2nd in the other game. (64, 70 and 63)
Tackle breaks seem to get a lot of fantasy points and she had 43 tackle breaks across 3 games.
She also made 61 tackles and missed 2 across the 3 games.
