Tbf if this is how we play when it matters I'm happy.Slots and Les Mis pleasuring themselves right now.
Please don't jinx us, there's still the Pacific championship games to goYou always find someone has been carrying an injury and needs surgery in the off season, but as far as I'm aware, this is the first off season we go into without any injuries.
For sure. Also their fullback is Scott Drinkwater. Just run right at him then slightly change direction. Try.Honestly he should just always go himself. I don’t think he backs himself enough. He creates all the opportunities, he might as well just finish them as well.
He’s actually one player who should be more selfish. I normally hate ball hogs but I think he needs to be more selfish. Often he’s already through but he still looks for the pass. For sure. Also their fullback is Scott Drinkwater. Just run right at him then slightly change direction. Try.
I sometimes wonder how much of it is him just being gassed - both the not keeping it, and the slightly off execution of the last pass. Post his bulk-up, I wonder if he manages his energy for the initial burst (the line break from nowhere), but doesn't feel like he has it in him to do another 30-40 meters at top pace. He’s actually one player who should be more selfish. Not sure he realises how good he is as a runner because he never has anyone create for him. I think he’s so used to being the creator, he forgets he can just finish things himself.
Yes we may have to into next year with a spine of KP, Gamble, Cogger snd Crossland. That would be OK (not ideal) and we can blood our younger halves when they are ready.I’m absolutely gutted. Think next year our best spine is Ponga gamble cogger Crossland. This offseason will be about figuring out how to score points. Dsaf wasn’t great tonight, but we won’t miss him that much, Friz has to move to prop and we’ll find cover at second row. Tonight will hurt for a long time, can’t imagine how the players feel but bring on 2025.
Agreed. Well put.Tbf if this is how we play when it matters I'm happy.
It's a week 1 bow out but we were capable of winning that. Coach had them playing at their peak and the game strategy is hard to knock. Considering we're playing with average halves, and missing JSaf and Best, AOB deserves praise.
Would be nice if he could get them up during the regular season tho so that we could get a home final at the very least
Yeah, I believe Sharpe could definitely long term be a half, but looking at what we’ve got right now those four are our best first grade Spine. Hope we don’t chop and change as much next year.Yes we may have to into next year with a spine of KP, Gamble, Cogger snd Crossland. Don’t forget the blatant forward passes and knock on he just didn’t see. C***The ref was a dead set cheat....not a single set restart for us and 3 challenges we had to win.
I want KNIGHTS VS COWBOYS RD 1 NEXT YEAR AT A SOLD OUT HOSTILE AS **** MCDONALD JONES STADIUMI’m absolutely gutted. Think next year our best spine is Ponga gamble cogger Crossland. Smith is incompetent. He may be the worst ref in the comp.Don’t forget the blatant forward passes and knock on he just didn’t see. C***
He was a rep standard star tonight. Unbelievable from him. What a playeri thought Brodie Jones was really awesome. Never thought he would be good tbh, but he was great tonight.
Just in case the Dolphins recruiters are lurking in this thread: Nooooo, absolutely not, you’re being crazy. He’s a defensive powerhouse and the last piece of the puzzle up in Redcliffe. The smart thing to do would be to engineer a player swap, him for Isaiya Katoa. My mate thinks i'm being biased and being a hater saying we need to get rid of Dsaf and that his defence is terrible. He's good for a couple unforgiveable defensive efforts every game. Tonight was no different and it was very costly for us. I'm correct right?
