Didn't someone a few weeks back say AOB took over the defensive coaching? We have looked quite sound defensively the past few weeks.

He said in the press conference last week or the week before when they praised the side’s attack that that was all Green and he focussed on the defence. I was quite surprised the split was so definite, in that AOB seemed to really 100% focus on defence.

The halves selection is all about effort in defence, kick on the 5th and get out of Ponga’s way when he wants the ball.

Phoenix and Cogger have that pretty well since being put into those roles.

It won’t win us a comp but it’s got us to finals when most thought (including me) that we were dead and buried.

If Drgaons didn't blow their last two games which they should have won, we would have never made it.
I mean, a few weeks ago the dragons beat a long standing record for most points ever scored by the losing team, so there was definitely some luck in the Knights surviving.

Was a huge win, very nervous throughout and score line , 14-0 didn’t ease it and only relaxed when down to last few minutes. Whole team gave its all, played strong and backed up each other, nice to be in the semis.
Am not confident of going further but to be honest wasn’t expecting to go this far so anything is a bonus.
Don’t expect the 17 to change but like a broken record please, Gamble to 6, Cogger to 7, Crosslands 9 and yes he had a strong game but Brailey to 14.
At times I thought Ponga overplayed his hand, think the team showed they can compete so please Ponga play your own game and especially don’t get tackled on 5th tackle, restricts our next play and leaves us with only one playmaker/kicker, Cogger, on last tackle.

Was there an after the game ceremony where any player departures were confirmed/announced as I know a few teams have apparently already announced leaving players at the game

Did you hear the post game with Elliott? He specifically mentioned his 4th tackle plays. Must be a worked on thing.
The 4th tackle hit ups are deliberate, other teams do it too. It’s to keep the forwards all in the defensive line for the kick chase.

I understand the logic but I don’t think KP taking hit ups on the 4th tackle with his head knock history, unless it’s against a retreating defence. Andrew Johns mentioned it in the commentary as well, saying he didn’t like KP being used that way

Been a huge day, have run more metres than Ponga, made more tackles than Brailey, more hit ups and metres than Marzhew, copped more abuse than the Ref, eaten heaps at dinner and drank more than I should so it’s off to bed a very happy and satisfied Knights supporter so thank you my 17 teammates and my apologies for those outburst created by anxiety under the pressure of the game, it will probably happen again next week, same result would be good😎👍😎✌️😎

Easy to cherry pick what ifs.... If we had win our gold point games etc we would be 5th etc etc
