Thankfully next we have a bye and then we play the Panthers away. I believe that subject to fitness AOB will select the same team with the possible inclusions of Tuala and Elliott. No doubt the team will be instructed to get in the grind with the Panthers and conclusively loose the game.

The following week we play the Tigers at home, hopefully we can win that game.

I will be at the Tigers game , if we do win you know it won't be by much . Can't say I'm confident . I suppose if we lose the next two the press will coming after Obi. No way the Tigers will be coming here to get in the grind!
 
If Armstrong is available he needs to be on the wing.
Our season is gone, so we need to think about giving games to Pryce, Sharpe, Paul Bryan, Seb Sua, Riley Jones - not all in the same game, but 1 or 2 of them on the bench each week.

I can’t see AOB doing this at present unfortunately. He should be looking to give juniors first grade experience to assist with their development.
 
We have an extra week of preparation so a few changes could/should be made with the time used to coordinate things.
Assuming all fit I see back 5 as Ponga, Jenkins, Gagai, Best (Lucas) and Marzhew.
6 & 7 needs to change, Hastings not working, several options, Cogger/Gamble, not fussed, Cogger/Pryce, not fussed, Gamble/Pryce my preferred both quicker than Hastings, both kick well but depends on Gambles ability to adapt to 7.
8 DSaf, 9 Crosslands, 10 JSaf, 11 KPP, 12 Lucas/Friz, 13 Friz/Elliott
14 Jones R, 15 Thompson, 16 Hetherington, 17 Elliott/Croker/Jones B
 
I love how there hasn’t been any word from the panthers whinging about origin players resting and it taking away from the competition. You’re squad and those you’ve ear marked for the future come in and do their job

Honestly it feels like there’s zero point after losing those last two.

I’m just moving my attention to the NRLW side now.
