We’ve come a long way in a shorter period of time from the Tex Hoy ‘era’.

Granted, I do miss Lachie though.

I’m with you in terms of Lachie’s performances. I wish he could have stayed at the level he was at for those first 5-6 games.

At the same time, we seem to struggle making selection decisions with the halves / FBs we have now so adding another one to the mix would make it even more difficult!

Wonder how he’s going in the Superleague? I’m sure he’d have turned it around in time and with a bit more experience, but then Ponga came back so he never really got the chance.

Quote from the Yorkshire Evening Post recently that pretty much sums him up “Miller has been far from perfect so far in his Leeds career, but things tend to happen when he has the ball and if he’s on his game, he’s a genuine entertainer.”

He’s doing ok. Rhinos have struggled and sacked their coach (Rohan Smith) recently. Might make the finals but not in a spot to do so at the moment.

Knights calendars have a bit of a habit of doing this. I have one somewhere from (...I can't think off-hand what year ... my memory's not working yet this morning!) which had a front cover of several players, nearly all of whom had retired or left the club before that year's calendar was finished. Trent Hodkinson was one of those players.

Yeah I think I had one the year after Bennett left and half the team left with him, that wasn’t an enjoyable calendar.

Did anyone see the NRL did a big club captains collage on instagram? Had Ponga and Brailey for the Knights.

Got pointed out in the comments Brailey isn’t our captain anymore, so they had to delete, re-edit the collage and re-post it.

While this whole Dylan Brown saga has been going on, NIB have tried to fly under the radar and start doing away with their Green background logo on jerseys.

Rugby team Blues Marvel jersey, a nice red and blue option, has a modestly sized WHITE nib logo.
I still recognised it, even though it wasn’t green.

Now we have our halves sorted, can we sort out the green nib logo?

They've always used a white logo on the Blues Super Rugby jersey, for quite a few years now. I don't know why we get lumbered with the green!

I wonder if Jonah Pezet is questioning his life choices at the moment. Said no to the Knights’ offer to join this season’s fourth to last team, then next year moving to the second to last team.

So glad he said no and we ended up with Brown. He’s got a long way to go before his at Dylan’s level.

Yeah no guarantee KP stays either if we sign Pezet, whereas signing Brown has had a massive flow in effect. Things could be very different right now if we’d signed Pezet and not in a good way

It’s obviously early days but Brown will be one of our most important signings in the history of the club. Jonah might go on to have a great career but Brown will be a premiership winner in our colours.
