Finals Bound

Raiders aren't winning another game. If we were to play them at home in week 1 id jizz myself as it'd be a guaranteed victory. We'd annihilate them.

This is my final ladder predictor for finals week 1. Provided we win final two games 💦 💦 💦

6 or 7 might turn out to be a better finish, and play the loser of Broncos v Warriors.
 
I can honestly see the Roosters losing to the Tigers this week. They're still pretty bad. Best case would be versing Raiders at home for sure.

I've just had to remove the cut and paste article ... years ago the Newcastle Herald threatened us with legal action if we posted their articles here (back in the days when their site was free to read) so I don't want to risk anything.

But feel free to write about what you read in your own words, because I don't think they can stop someone discussing an article. :)

Interesting scenario for the NRL
If Newcastle get a home final week 1
Will they align it with the nrlw double header at MacDonald Jones you would think they would be smart enough to do so even this far out you would think they would have that as a plan they would have to change times to as the first game is on at 11:30 and then the next is at 1:30 so new times would most likely have to be 1230 and 230 and then we get the 530 Saturday game
pretty sure the elimination finals are on Saturdays anyway

Tigers vs Brisbane women
Newcastle vs Sydney women
Then the men's Newcastle home final

Think we must have filled these out pretty much the same way to finish the regular season - this weekend decides 5th and 6th or more importantly who gets the Raiders in week 1 of the finals.

Only real curveballs I see to that are possible mass restings in the final round - Penrith are known to do it but appear to have been staggering their restings over the last few rounds this year (unlucky Cows). Seems unlikely that Souths will get near a Roosters team coming home with a wet sail in the final round, but off the bye I guess you never know.
 
What happens if Parramatta beat the panthers. Doesn't look like Lui will play again this year either.
