Answering my own question, yes I believe if we lose one of final two games we can finish 6th. And if a “finals bound” thread isn’t the thread to speculate and get excited on……which one is..?

Not entirely sure how they define it/count it but I believe it's just how many times a player is "there" in support.Reading the team stat's on the nrl app can someone explain supports to me
We are last for it apparently
ie two forwards are running in a pair for a hitup, the one without the ball will get a support run.
Or a fullback following up a runner looking for an offload/outside back following up a linebreak.
Not surprised we're last though we're generally pretty bad with one-out running.
I’m a bit surprised, there always seems to be a player there to take the pass these days. But maybe earlier in the season is hurting us overall. Such a turnaround in that area, I keep meaning to mention it!

Yeah we've definitely had an uptick in recent times but for a while we've been pretty poor, doesn't help much that most sides tend to have more ballplaying forwards. Now that Elliott is back and in form we're setting that shape better but none of our props pass much (even though Leo can, he hasn't really used it too often yet).

Strange comment, we can't officially wrap up a finals berth until Round 27. If we win this weekend, we are at worse 3 points clear of 8th. I thought it was only weird tipping comps that had double points in the last round.
