Barry must have had an absolute blinder last night If he doesn't think the current season has fallen off the cliff.Barry’s response to my tweet below has spoilt my morning.

"The players are united behind him Luke,"According to Barry Toohey we should not count on AOB being sacked this year.
if Wests were going to pull the pin on AOB they'd wait until the end of the season. The team has fallen off a cliff..... literally just lost to a NSW cup roosters squad.
Season is done, club needs to move on from the AOB experiment.
Agree,if Wests were going to pull the pin on AOB they'd wait until the end of the season.
I'm all for letting a bloke have a red hot crack, things take time, I understand that, but AOB is in his 4th year? is that right? 4 years and still dont look competitive for a top 8 let alone challenging for a premiership is not good enough. The roster is looking in very poor shape.
Hasler and McGuire are terrible options, last thing we want is retread coach who has tried and failed before. Hasler is the worst option, always leaves a club in a far worse position then he found it.“can’t think of a coach who would do better”? What about a guy named Hassler, or McGuire, or Morris. I really like the comment, the coaches need to start playing the players in specialist positions.
I have no answers for who should be the next guy, but I have to say, Hasler and Maguire are no sure things to get anything more out of this team. Des has a pretty good record but it's been up and down for a while now. We saw how badly he left the Bulldogs. He's the kind of guy that could ruin your club and leave it reeling for the next half decade. Madge on the other hand, the last time a team of his won over 50% of their games was 8 years ago. So I'm not rushing into thinking that they are much better options as you said.Barry annoys the crap out of me and seems to be afraid to call it as it is.
As mentioned by others hasler and macguire will do a much better job.

Better off targeting someone with new ideas and energy. Statistically coaches find their greatest success in their first club appointment.
It's always a gamble but you want to find the Andrew Webster of the current assistants.
above all else, first and foremost the culture is largely AOB's responsibility . I do wonder if the problem isnt a bit further up the management chain and sitting at the door of the Wests Group CEO.Not going to blame everything on him, maybe it's due to the horrible culture that this club is riddled with?
