Likes of McEwen, Harris and Leaumoana have stood out this year too.

Never going to keep them all, but He just seemed to be getting a strong foothold through the system. But I trust the coaches and Parr to know who they want to hold onto.
 
according to Toohey's news Jermaine McEwen and Tama Whareaorere have been suspended for the Ball GF.
Mathews is full strength after the halfback avoided suspension.

With 2 of our best forwards suspended and Faelmoe injured, we'll need a lot of fringe players to have the games of their lives to win ball.
 
**** didn’t realise McEwen was out. That sucks. Faelmoe been very strong too. Dare say Harris comes in to start. Unsure on bench rotation now. 1 game. Make it the game of you lives lads.

Knights seemed well on top till the Bulldogs bench players came on and got them back into it with some big runs.
 
Really stuffed up this game so far in Matt’s last 40 mins. A dummy half run at 8-6 which was dropped and dogs went length field for 14-6. Then a short ball with 3 man overlap leads to a penalty and down field to score for 20-6.
Now another mistake and dogs score to win the grand final
 
Will Rosenbaum was one of our best I thought.
He played for North Coast Bulldogs in the Andrew Johns cup last year and didn't come into Mathews till round 6, so he's only had a handful of games for us. He seems a very good athlete and got better every game I saw, till he was one of our standouts in this game.
One to watch for next year.

We let them get off to a fast start and let in two soft tries.
It was a struggle to get back to 12-12.
We really need to come out fast in the second half, because Parra will.

Felt like we should have won that one.
Mathews I thought we were beaten by a better side, but that one felt like we let in too many soft tries.
