We were fine thanks. Humxan reslience and humour comes through. I heard one guy saying he mowed his lawn with a digger and would have sack the cleaner as his floors had six inches of silt on the carpets
 
This quote from Leo makes it sound like they are coached to play the boring football that we see.

As we all know boring football doesn’t win premierships anymore. We’ll except maybe the Knights head coach.

All I've ever wanted from the team is to just play footy, eyes up like your playing in the backyard. I loved watching Owen Craigie just back himself EVERYTIME. Gee even Robbie O would do some freaky **** then you added johns perfection and it became obvious pretty quick those guys just loved to play the game. A bit of that back into the squad and the results will come.

That is what made me enjoy watching the knights so much win lose or draw.....now its just so boring.
 
I was watching an interview with an old Warriors CEO from the early 00s last night, and he was talking about how in his time at the helm Stacey Jones and Joey were inventing all these new kicks - bananas, corkscrews, etc. And he said how it was such an exciting time, but they all seemed to die out within a year or two.

Right with the rise of the Storm and boring error free football imo.

Would love to see that sort of innovation and players backing themselves back in the game again!

Ah the good old days! I remember waiting for the Knights to play each week and wondering what brilliant things Joey would do.

Remember Obi saying for the first two years he was concentrating on getting the defence right . How good has that gone ?😀. What happened to the saying attack is the best form of defence ?

I think they just come with the idea that the club has been unsuccessful for so long now, that they need to build a team from the ground up getting all the basics right, like completion rates and defence, but it never ends up going anywhere because rosters change, coaches get sacked. We don't have half a decade to slowly build a team. This is a results driven business, you play to win. Just need to get the right mixture of players one day, combined with a coach that can get them to play to their strengths and then get lucky with injuries. That's what it comes down to.
