Well when it’s a winger, being huge, insanely strong and super duper fast are things you should absolutely be looking for hahaha. I wouldn’t wanna play little Jock Madden on a wing over Dom 😂
 
Tom Baker, Jock Madden, Phoenix Crossland and Brock Gardner - winners for NSW under 16s.
Phoenix still had some growing to do at 15, but Jock was tiny and didn't get much bigger in under 18s.

I just wish we would trial an interim coach for the remainder of the season, otherwise it's just going to a waste of valuable time blooding/trying new combinations. AOB is just stubborn and will not make the necessary changes because he will have to swallow his pride and admit he was wrong.

I do reckon Dom loves his footy and does everything he can to learn. Being the size he is, is just the cherry on top. They do say a good big guy will beat a great little guy every day.

That's the game plan, bore them to death and then pounce, it will work one of these days you watch.
 
Apparently theres a media release that AOB will be holding a press conference at 11.30 today.. no officials with him.
 
The players have obviously stopped listening to and putting in for AOB.

The only way he can save it is to throw everything out the window for the last 5 games and see if they respond, but it sounds like he's far too arrogant and stubborn to admit what he's doing isn't working and the squad has tuned out.

So yeah, if they don't get rid of him before the off-season you can expect more of the same early next year until the club bites the bullet, by which time another season will likely be down the drain.
 
He has quit! Dribbled on with the same nonsense, but he did say the main factor in his decision was that he just couldn't continue to let down the members of the Marathon Stadium Knights Forum! " I love the players but not as much as I love the Forum, the players would love me to stay but the Forum guys want me out, over and out AOB!" Adam O'Brien. I am sure others have said or thought it but surely if we get pumped by the Tigers Obi has to go?

Wasting a preseason on him is basically throwing away 2023.
