Adam O'Brien replacement?

I actually thought the team dug in and had a red hot go, it was good to see were can actually score points.

If they can keep improving and don't fall apart we will knock off a fair few teams.

Not sure AOB is the coach that can take us to the top 4.

Very interested to see how we play when Ponga returns, our attack has looked heaps better the past 2 weeks. Wonder if they fall to crap when h returns.

I didn’t say they should be behind the line mate, just not stuck with head in a scrum. At least in the defensive line they can turn and chase if needed.
 
Oh well I'm totally off AOB now and it's unfortunate it hasn't worked out because I remember how well we started when he was first with us in 2020 when we managed a draw with the eventual grand finalists with Penrith then the week after flog the crap out of Canberra. I actually bought into the hype into AOB for a about year and thought he'd be the man to get us to that 3rd premiership until I watched the game against the Wests Tigers in magic round with how bad we played that night and how weak his press conference was then started to noticed some more flaws about him that have only gotten worse since then. I'd be happy if he proved me wrong if could deliver up a top 4 finish or better but I'm less confident of him the longer he's been with us so far.

I think AOB most definitely has had a rough run in terms of injuries etc. however with that has come challenges he hasn’t been able to deal with, probably not many coaches would have. There has been some blame on the players too. Either way, I think it’s unrepairable and time to move on. Had had some luck with injuries etc, it might have been a different story.

Mate you dont understand league, scoring points is easy part of the game.

Defending and line speed and scramble and the 1% plays thats the hard part, from the kick off souths were marching up the field as we had zero line speed and desire to do the tough stuff, just wanted to score points like last week.

I don't understand league, funniest thing I have ever heard....been playing it my whole life mate.

If you didn't see any improvement in the team you need to give it up and stop being so negative...a few weeks ago we were struggling to do the easy part of the game as you put it, scoring points. There was also scramble and line speed, yes it wasn't there for the whole game but was there.

We clearly have scored more points the past two weeks and showed some fight yet you still bag them.
 
Give Flannery a go. Took the Sharks from Spoon to Title. Sure, he might have drugged some of them, but even allowing for that, he turned them into a tough team and think they have only missed the finals once since he first got them there.

O'Brien had had long enough to get us playing good footy.
