Can't believe we lost Tarsha Gale, but it is probably a good thing that we go into the finals knowing we can get beaten if we don't show up.
Bulldogs had their first and only win of the season.
You get this in the last game of juniors because most of the Bulldogs girls just had the last and best game of league of their lives. They'll tell their grandkids how they got a win over some of these Knights girls.
 
Illawarra lost their second game of the season today, so we have the minor premiership won.
Just need to get serious for the finals.

Before that game we'd only lost to the teams coming 1 and 2, and now we have lost to 11th as well.

Knights are down 12 - 16 against top placed Canterbury in Ball.
We can't make the finals, but giving Canterbury their first loss would be a good way to finish. Seems to be the order of the day.

Knights have used one substitute up till halftime, so have plenty of fresh players for the second half

Looks like the Knights having only 1 soft game in the last month has taken the momentum out of our season.
Dragons have had to battle hard every week to make the semi final, so they are on a roll now.

Lost Tarsha Gale qualifying semi after a brilliant minor premiership effort.
The other teams having to make up a round and us getting a bye in the first round of finals meant the Dragons have been playing hard games every week for the last month and we had 1 game against wooden spooners Canterbury 3 weeks ago.
Fair play to the Dragons, who have battled their way into a grandfinal after finishing 5th with a 4/4 record in the regular season, but it does feel like we had a very poor preparation because of the way the comp was organised.

They had a pretty good chance in 2019 and lost the grandfinal because 1 girl in the opposition, who now plays for Australia, looked like Daniel Saifiti was dropped into an under 18s game.

Second best side in the comp, Illawarra, have crashed out as well after getting a few weeks off as well.

The teams that come 4th and 5th will play the grandfinal.

He must want to play centre for some reason, or his coach is on drugs.
I can imagine him playing halfback or 5/8 or maybe even lock.
If he isn't playing hooker, he needs to be in some sort of playmaking role.
