We have lost the lead and they scored 2 tries while he was off.
He adds so much in both attack and defence we really need him to get fit enough to play full minutes by the end of the season.
 
Lost Ball 52 to 32 against 1st placed Raiders. We were ahead by 2 points with 20 minutes to go and let in 5 tries in the last 20.
Nailagolivia was given a rest when we were 2 in front - came back when we were 2 tries down and went off HIA and we fell to bits.
 
Watched the girls under 19s.
Knights 46 - 12 Wests Tigers
Both sides went into the game undefeated, but the Knights just destroyed them.
I'd say the Knights spent the pre season doing a lot of full contact training. These young girls are usually a bit shy of contact, with a lot of shirt grabbing and slowing down before the line, but these girls were ferocious in both attack and defence with no fear of contact at all. Wests couldn't hold the ball because the Knights defenders were launching themselves at them and knocking the ball loose, and then charging into them in attack.
To give Wests their due, after a bit of all in pushing and shoving match late in the game and the Knights lining up and smashing the girl they thought was to blame, Wests scored 2 late tries to get on the board and actually looked competitive for a while.

Mathews lost 40-0 to Manly. I've got to stop watching Mathews - 2 games I've watched and those are the 2 they lost, and they looked terrible in both games.
 
Ball lost 42-18.
Can't see them making the finals now.
Same group + Jonah Pezet hasn't lost a game for the last 2 years.
This year they have lost 4 from 6 so far.
 
Matts, Ball and Gale all have a bye this week.
Oddly, the Gale side will get the 2 points, but should lose the ladder lead for the first time this season as the only other unbeaten side, Illawarra, play last placed Canterbury and only need 10 points on for and against to go past the Knights.
 
Most exciting knights game this week - the under 18s girls.
The two undefeated teams after 7 rounds - Knights and Illawarra - play each other in Maitland tomorrow.
Knights smashed another undefeated team last game - wests.
Craziest play I've seen in years;
The Knights had a midfield scrum about 15 out from the wests line. They put all their players on the left except 1 tiny little girl on the right, who oddly, was the left winger. The Tigers didn't fall for it and had 3 defenders lined up against the smallest player on the field - and the ball went to the little winger. She jogged sideways along the line of defenders till she got to the outside defender who had come in from the sideline about 10 metres, and then put the foot down and burnt her on the outside with pure pace to score in the corner untouched.

Anyway, these Knights girls are fierce. I can't believe how they throw themselves into the defence.

26-0 with 12 minutes to go - Knights just interchanged our biggest prop on for our smallest winger. Game plan might be to bash them for the last 10.
 
Knights nilled the only other unbeaten side. With 1 regular season game to go they are 4 points clear and their last game is against last placed Canterbury, who haven't won a game.

Won Mathews, but lost the second half 3 tries to 1. Ferguson ended with a measly 3 tries.

The Tarsha Gale cup side play at 11 AM against last placed Canterbury.
They have made a lot of changes again.
They have had a remarkable season.
They started with some close wins against middle of the table sides, but have gone from strength to strength and in their last 2 games they have destroyed the teams coming 2nd and 3rd.
They are a fierce group.
Knights are supposed to have a senior women's side next year, and I say we just need to add a few australian reps like Isabel Kelly, Caitlan Johnson and Kylie Hilder to this team and we'd be good to go.
