Not really mate. The posh joints still asking for 700+ in towny. Mid range 400. Same as Newcastle regions.

Not every player is going to go for a palace or penthouse either. So they see these price differences and it can be a lot easier to take a 50k paycut to go there as opposed to Newcastle and especially Sydney.

I thought this forum was for uneducated opinions only, which is why I joined. I'm not sure the use of well sourced statistics to support a solid, thought out arguement is allowed.

How much are the Cowboys paying for Taumalo, Morgan & Homes? Add another 800 for Mitchell. Doesn't leave much cap space for the rest of the squad.

There isn’t much else left in the squad bar an overpayed Granville and McLean. Rest are young unproven players on minimum deals or thereabouts.

Coopers whole salary would be on the long serving allowance I’d imagine. Kyle Feldt is no better then Edrick Lee apparently so would be on scraps but does have a good 3rd party sponsorship with his 2wheeler. Who knows what Marsters would be on.

Sounds like a loaded squad though.

Lot of unknown in your expert opinion on what is a and isn’t but do you have facts or are we just putting it out there for discussion or argument, like that you are a fan of cowboys.

Well it’s either all of Coopers or a large chunk of Taumalolo/Morgan’s salaries on the long service allowance. Take your pick there.

Feldt was tongue in cheek as some on here would prefer Lee over him :lol:
But he does have a 3rd party sponsor up north through his motorbike which he will promote every week on his social media.

Got very promising young talent coming through. I guess all clubs would say that though.

Kirwan high won national schools title this year. They were also the youngest side in the comp with a lot of them only being 16 and missing their best player through injury at the end in Hamiso. Did lose the Peter Stirling medal winner to the raiders though along with the 5/8th that was in the side.
