Can't see Watson playing 80 minutes, particularly against Brisbane's pack. That bench would be great, but I suspect Buhrer will be in the 14 and either Jacob or Saulo drops out.

The development players are just like everyone else after July 1. Before that we need to ask for an exemption to use them, but Tom Starling got 2 games for Canberra because they had players in origin - so we should have no problem using Fermor for injured Glasby if we asked. Don't think we will though.

After July 1 we are free to use Fermor, Musgrove, Crossland, Toa and 2 we haven't named yet (I tip Chris Randall and Kiah Cooper).
We also have 1 fulltime spot to give out, which could be Bradman Best IMO, although I'd give it to Jirah Momoisea.

Another guy they might think about giving a development contract to is Tex Hoy, for cover at fullback and 5/8.

didnt we fill our remaining top 30 spot with randall when levi got injured? swear i read that somewhere.
 
An interesting matchup will be Sione v TPJ now that they play a similar role and will go head to head at some stage.
They were childhood friends and team mates and call each other cousin, but I've seen them punching on in backplay in one of the few games of juniors where they opposed each other.
I think there is a fair bit of rivalry between them.

Randall and Cooper started training with the fulltime squad a month or so ago. I assume it will depend on how well they train if they get a development contract or the last top 30 spot - or nothing.
 
Think Brown should show that game against Broncos I think its was in 07 were they flogged us 72-4 I think, this I the best chance for payback. We have a gun team and the team is in a purple patch right now, Broncos not a star team anymore(and having problems) need to show them no mercy.(they didn't to us back then)

Sione to replace Barnett
King on the bench are the only changes

Klemmer, Guerra and Jake Saifiti all in the 21 but not in the 17
 
That Brisbane side doesn’t intimidate me at all, but you got to show up no matter what the side looks like. Let’s get it done and hopefully with changes to the 17 before kick off.

We will miss Klemmer if he doesn't play but that's still a good looking set of forwards and bench. Sione's speed around the big guys could be a bonus and he looks fit enough to play 80 min easy .

They don't intimidate me either … from here , but.... If they were standing infront of me it may be a different matter lol.
