People often have short memories and forget how good the Ross dog was for 2.5 years. He stood out in a team that had nothing going for it. Wish him all the best!
The club wins in this instance considering they wanted to offload him anyways.
Shame for Rossy but I guess he should have taken the tip and left at the end of last year, he'll only get paid out his last year of his Knights' contract, would have been better for him to have another 2 years to go on a new deal he might have got.
Hopefully the club looks after him, I'm sure he'd be useful in some capacity.
The big question now is what to do with his roster spot and his salary???
Go to the market or upgrade someone like Star Toa, Tex Hoy or even Beau Fermor ???

Yes it gets paid the remainder of his deal I thought his deal was done at the end of this year, but on second look he had another year to go.Think his contract gets fully paid to him so next year as well, its just that from when he retires this year(the percentage left) and next years contract don't get paid by the club, and you'd assume we have insurance to pay for such instances.
Yea h I thought he was on his last year, didn't realise he had 2 more to go !!!No one was paying ross more than the $700k for 2019/20 he was already on and he will be paid that out. So he didn't cost himself anything.
I was talking more about this yearGot a few off contract, Slade, Hunt, Buhrer and SKD I'd say the first 3 are goneski's, so there's a good chance we could bring in 2-3 more players as well as upgrade young players as we allegedly had some free to go for TPJ again already.
