    5 is easy.
Sio, Denniss, Lamb, Ross and Levi are all guys the club offered a spot to or are under contract who are all looking elsewhere.
The list of guys the club has tried to sign for next year who knocked us back is too long for me to type - I'm only a 2 finger typer.

It’s very sad how things are going with The Ross Dog. He has very quickly gone from fan hero to unwanted by management.

Most of them don't want out. They think they're worth more to stay or are being forced out.

Exactly. Name the players that actually want out. Ross wants to stay, but has been told he can look elsewhere. He has said he is happy to force his way in to the side.

Denniss we haven't made an offer to, Sio we have and wants to stay, in fact he said even if he leaves, once he retires he wants to settle back in Newcastle in retirement. Lamb and Levi are cheesed off with their selection options at the club.

The agenda is strong with this one!

Can't believe Ross is on $350k and just signed and now we are shopping him, looks like some very poor judgement less than a season later.
The complete cull of reserve grade could have the effect that fringe players, Sio, Denniss, Ross etc now have a inflated ego on there worth, the old cupboard is bare. We need backup and they are hoping it is them.

Players can't go around saying what they think if they ever want to sign for anyone again.
Every player says "I love it here blah blah blah". 10 years from now we'll hear all the stories.

You got schooled with written facts Billy, yet still can't open your eyes to it.

How did this guy win the marathon stadium award for best footy brain.....

So Levi is the only signed player who wants out?

    1 is not 5...

I haven't seen anything stating Levi wants out either,
I've heard he wants the starting spot but isn't willing to earn it so has had a second tantrum

    Opinion is not fact.
They are looking for new clubs.
By any definition and with any spin you want to put on it, that is wanting out.

I know you all want to think everything is going just great and the **** is not hitting the fan, but all I see is wall to wall wooden spoons and us churning through players at a rate I doubt any club has before, with little or no improvement.
Brown has churned through about 100 players now, and you can count the one's who have improved on the fingers of 1 hand.
Coaches like Waite and Ryan improved every player in the roster when they were here, and current coaches like Bellamy and even Bennett do the same.
Every time I hear of a young guy like Starling or Meaney leaving I think, good decision, get off the sinking ship.

Levi definitely asked for a release earlier this year, by his own admission.

Also reported he would ask for release again if we signed Luke.

Can see what is going on but Levi has asked for out if signed Luke, that hasn't happened, has it? so he is likely to stay, are we jumping in a bit early let's wait and see but if Levi goes we need two hookers rather than one as it stands now and we are having trouble with one.

So by this post " you're stating your opinions " which are not facts.

Thanks for clearing that up, this could of become a real mess on here.

Yeah I know about earlier in the year, though he also came out saying he wasn't happy sitting in cup but loves the club.
We haven't signed Luke and Levi will be staying 100%.

Billy is making milk curdle before its time.

Rewind a bit. Levi finished 2017 in good form and playing test football. He had no issues pre season. In the trials where Griffin was used everyone who reported on those trials said Griffin was very strong in defence but Levi got the team going forward better. Round 1 no Levi. Round 1 Barnett gets a start, with no trials a restricted pre season and ending 2017 below his best form. Levi was entitled to wonder why he wasn't given a start in round 1. What did he do wrong ? I like Levi as a player(anyone know exactly how many failed barge over attempts and quick taps he took ? Must be in the hundreds they way people talk.) but for him to be the player I believe he's capable of he needs to find a club where Brown isn't the coach.

I've got a box of popcorn and I'm watching the slow motion trainwreck happen.
I gave up on the current mob halfway through last pre season.
I saw about 2 games of firstgrade live last year, and about 30 lower grade games, and I really enjoyed the year. Lower grades were great.

So, for a year where we had Pearce and Ponga start with us, along with a number of other exciting signings, and we finished 5 places up the ladder on the last 3 years, but you had already given up on us before pre-season was done? Probably best you do stick to the lower grades then.

The rot with Levi started at the Maitland trial last year as I've posted before. Levi clearly was of the understanding he would get a decent run, pretty sure brown had said both him and griffin would get a good run in that game, and Levi was left warming the bench for 90% of that game. This is the hooker you have that just finished a world cup campaign mind you.

He was friggin pi$$ed on the sidelines at one point just after half time, storming up to the trainer with the walkie talkie and having words, standing there whilst it was relayed to Brown, only for him to trudge back and sit down again. Clearly told not going on. He got on in the dying minutes of the game when Parra had already smashed us.

From then on, Griffin got all the selections. And Levi's attitude deteriorated.

Anyway, it is clear Billy is very juniors focused, for whatever reason it appears does not have much interest in NRL level.
